Minisnake is a machine for the air laying of fiber optic cables in pre-installed pipes
Minisnake is able to lay over 100 meters of cable per minute, developing a thrust force greater than 300 N. Two traction belts ensure the advancement of the cable in the microduct. Inside the latter, compressed air is blown in order to minimize the friction in the conduit, literally making the cable inside it float.
